DEXA Scan - Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry is the most widely used method to measure how many grams of calcium and other bone minerals that are in a segment of the bone. A bone density test is used to determine how strong the bone is and the risk it might break, conditions also known as osteopenia or osteoporosis.
